I have been thinking of abstract as being what is just off the canvas and painted by sort of drawing it back. Because this is green and curly spiked I think then it is an artichoke manipulated. I hope I have not tread on any toes.

OK no laughing now Evie. When I opened it the first thought that popped into my head..OMG what a lovely picture for a needlepoint. Yep many years ago I did that (when I didn't have to work that is LOL) This is priceless and perfect and I love the name!!!! Super and next time someone corrects ya say what I do, "Honey I've been around so long that I wrote the book on grammar" I just choose not to do it right, have no need Grins

Well, I have to agree with Granny.. (Monica will kill me for that one...hehehe) It does mess with the eyes.. sort of a focusy thing.. None the less.. still very pretty! Very original name too.. I try never to criticize.. save that for IM's if I feel it may actually help.. but I'm first to admit that sometimes I haven't a clue as to what I'm looking at...hehehe. But... If it's pretty... who cares??? I enjoy it anyway.. Best to ya Evie.. Hope your trip is great!!!! Hugs... Dave :^)
