Description
Pictures numbered clockwise starting at top left.
1. Flap down, daylight.
2. Flap up, daylight.
3. Flap down, night. Blackout convoy spacing light. When you see four lights you are too close, two lights you are at the correct distance, one light you are too far. This is demonstrated in the thumbnail animation. The distance of the vehicle ahead in meters is given in the lower right. The brake light shows through a hole in the flap.
4. Flap up, night. Normal tail light on left and brake light on right. Tail light also illuminates identification plate through window on bottom of case.
A clever piece of German engineering.
Note: Colors are approximate.
Mesh and renders in C4D, animated gif made in Ulead Animator, Notek logo made in Corel Draw and composite made in Corel Photo Paint.
