Description
Life is a battle.
Every day an enimy, so powerfull, so invincible that when it comes upon you
you see no chance of winning.
Yet you pick up that sword and face it, like every day and sloughter it like those before.
Looking, you you see days , corpses of time , the earth behind ,soaked with blood, sweat and tears,
the essence of life you loose battling, fighting!!!... and yet you know..
there is this one day you will wake up and find the sword you carry is to heavy,
unable to lift it, unable to move.. you face one of the two moments that define the life.
The day you where born , the day you die.!!
Falling, stumbling even , youll willingly kneel down and welcome the endless dark for its no loss but a present.
One never knows when it comes.
could be tomorrow..
Ill do my best to face it with honor,
honestly tho.. that is the day i fear most.

Supurb art - as always. Saddening that anyone can express such sorrow about the final day. A couple thoughts ... Pick that sword up and get back into the fray ... otherwise, come tomarrow, you wont know if it was worth it or not. Many - if not most, male dominated societies celebrated death day for a number of reasons, In part as the end of pain & suffering. There is no evidence that any American Indian ever said "it's a good day to die" altho a few may have said that its a good day for us white eyes to die. Bottom line. death is not something to be feared, although the timing may be inconvienient. Wanna borrow my sword?

I used to think that life was a battle... a struggle against insurmountable odds... but the things you have shared with me in your gallery show me something different. You taught me that life was a great adventure, my friend. With every chapter and every saga filled with passion, comedy, action, pain, loss and ultimately victory! Keep the adventure alive! Odd that today was a day that made me feel that way. Rather then being depressing, to me it is inspirational. It makes me feel like NO! Not time to lay down the sword just yet. I will pick him up beside me and together we will continue. Thanks
