Description

My comment on the new and improved TOS. "We feel this is a positive move for the entire community. We apologize for any inconvenience and we hope you understand the value these changes will bring. Working together we can have the best Community possible!" BS. Lawyers got involved in something that was just fine. Here are some links you might enjoy that would VIOLATE the TOS here but aparently were acceptable for the last 500 years. So Would Maxfield Parrish be acceptable under the new TOS?

Parrish used nudes infrequently as I remember, but there is one painting I do remember at least partially. A boy or girl, can't remember, standing over what might be a sister, young mother or older lover (if the figure was a boy). Been a while since I saw the image. Was from the early 20's to 30's I think, not sure, been a long time since I was in school (lets just say its been at least 25yrs and leave it at that). I remember I didn't like his style much, other than the one image.

You may actually be violating TOS by linking to those, though. Fine art? Not at Renderosity, thankyou! ;-)

Its a sad state of affairs when artists' images are judged on the perversions of others completely disconnected from the art. If a PIECE of art is perverse or lewd, then deal with that ONE PIECE, don't ban an entire genre because some up tight housemom saw a baby's butt. Click NEXT, move on. Last I checked we ALL were borne naked. Should we ban all red cars because a few people consider red a hostile color? Maybe we should ban all blue cars because someone saw a Da Vinci reprint in the back seat of one at the mall. We are headed there if not VERY careful.

From what I've read so far there seems to be a very confused uptight loney person/persons here at renderosity. Art has been critized from our earliest times, always as a way to control the masses, and the artist has always survived thru the art...you see, people die but the artwork still is there for all to see. For those of you here at Renderosity attempting to control the artist community and creations remember that your God created the human form NOT YOU...if it be two feet tall or six feet tall dressed or running free in a field of flowers unclothed doesn't matter. Not to say humping like bunnies would not be ok on this site as young children do view here and they should take that art to the porn sites...there are plenty of those. But PLEASE...stop this crazy control of the creative mind...it is 2005 !!! Time to be awake and real with our world folks. Now I'm off with my 3 children and new digicam to take pics of them running thru a field of flowers (clothed)...haha hope you all have a blessed and beautiful day and come to a better end to this craziness. I find the entire Cubist movement terribly erotic; I can't believe you would have the audacity to flout the rules in such a way, trying to disguise it with the image of a child, just to place a clearly pornographic picture in this wholesome, non-threatening gallery! :-O

Cubism! ROFL! It never crossed my mind but thats funny..well I guess in a way the image is sort of cubist, using cubes to represent elements in the art.
