Description

This one happened by mistake, when I first took it I didn't notice the little fellow on the bottom side of the leaf, was paying too much attention to the one on the top, hoping I wouldn't make him hop away. Though the quality isn't quiet what I wanted I still think its a cool macro shot. Sized down to 60% of the original size.

At first I thought you were making a joke about the little alien dude. But see the bigger green hopper under the top one.How cool is that.

cool shot arth.......... as you say it would have been nice had it been a little sharper,I assume you focused this manually....... heres a cool little thing i found out about the eos.... if you hold the button down half way (as you would to auto focus) and focus manually it will still beep and let you know you have good focus (make sure you switch the af from 7 point to just the centre point tho... as you've misplaced your manual..... stupid boy ;) you change the af point by pressing the little button with the white dotted cross above it and turn the finger dial till you get the focus point you need...

yeah i know all about the focus meter platypus3d, its more the lens combination that I was using and being abit too close to the little guy. I got another that is clearer but the one under the leaf wasn't visible. I just found it intresting that I was so focused in on the one I didn't notice the green one till later on after i'd shot afew of the top guy.

Beautiful work here, those grasses in front of your lens really are a pain... arent they and you often cant remove them without scaring the bug off... sigh ;o) Fantastic work !! :o)
