It's a good thing Goerge Lucas did Ep. 1,2 & 3. R2D2 had gotten in alot of trouble before then. After this was posted on America's Most Wanted, R2 was soon caught. He was allowed to work on the last 3 of Lucas's movies provided he rolled on his drug supplier. The drug supplier (C3P0) was caught and is currently serving 2 eons as pipe bender. R2 went into the witness protection program and it is rumored that he is somewhere in England working as a chamber pot.

The F.B.I. (Freedom Bot Initiative) has been notified of this and is currently in wait for the assassin bots. When they arrive, they will be deactivated, dismantled and sent to C3P0 to be "bent". R2D2 has been relocated.
