Im 37+2, live in Sydney Australia (or Oz as I like to call it), and work as a sales rep for a massage therapy company. I stumbled upon the fractal software APOPHYSIS by accident and fell in love with it immediately. I think i have managed to create my own unique style of art to share with this community, and I have since discovered an amazing array of talented artists here at Renderosity, that have been nothing but helpfull and friendly. God bless u all :) Cant wait to see what kind of software the future holds. Flame-on..... :)

From a very mystical, enchanted forest. I am waiting on these roots expanding/rolling out to stretch.

I love this Andrew, just like I love old trees. Imagine the tales they could tell. So what's up with YOUR bod then? Rough and gnarly with a bit of bark peeling off here and there? LOL

Wonderful effect, Andrew - really captures an ancient tree with its gnarly twisting and turning battle scars of aging. Beautifully done! VOTE

Went on a long hike yesterday around the local wetlands, some place where the French first came to Florida. Many of the trees on the trail were as old as the 1580's expidition, some bowled over looking just as beautiful as your Apo, oyster shells making up 90% of their tired old root base. Just walking along the trails was like climbing roots in the ground embedded like steps, looked just like this!!! You really captured it Andrew, a wonderfully organic Apo. Now get us some leaves and a picnic basket...(=

I research old trees in the "UK" particularly "Yew" trees, if the "Yew" is left to itself, it has the possibility to live forever unlike any known living organism, I think "they" are "the tree of life" from the old "Norse"(Viking) myths!(just my opinion!) One near me is 2000 yrs old and is 24 feet around, another one in Scotland is 60 feet around and could be up to 7000 yrs old! Great representation here, if i may say so! :)
