Description

Thanks for viewing !! :o) A toad, probably overcome by the heat... it has been awfully hot here lately and the animals suffer from it... even more than we humans do apperently. It looks like it died right there, instantly, while desperately seeking a new puddle of water... Ive have been to this place a lot and there has always been puddles of water there, i even shot a few frog pics there (whilst they were still alive). It breaks my heart to see how this poor animal had to come to its end. But, thats life i guess.... :o) Wish you a sunny day !!! :o) uhm.. lol no pun intended ;o) - Thanks for all your wonderful comments on my last upload, "Do NOT Mess With Enmos !!" !! -- Many thanks, Jeroen

:( yep I always make sure there is water in my garden for any wildlife thats about in this heat. It attracts insects and birds in the day and by night foxes and hedghogs :)

Yes, I guess that is life..It always has been that way and it always will. I have a small pond in my garden and it really helps animals to survive. Common frogs are always present and yesterday I noticed toads are there too... not strange considering the temperatures they have to survive.. Not a pleasant shot but this story had to be told and therefor it is a good one.

R.I.P MR. dear toad - May your next life be filled with many an oasis. (It had to be a male toad -- obviously -- refused to ask for 'directions' - WINK) .... Edited: to 'lighten' up a sad situation.
