Description
This is the most disheartening image I've done. People always like this one, but I didn't really do anything. It's all illustrator and photoshop, I didn't even pick up a pencil. I read a commercial artist magazine on how they do alot of their work and just wanted to try my hand at it. I really feel like I cheated but like I said, people like this image so I thought I'd post it.

To some artists, the method matters. To most people, the result matters. "Cheating" or not, I like the result!

Fantastic image, expression and composition. Excellent!!!

Illustrator and Photoshop did not generate this image. You did. It's quite good. I wish the face was either realistically shaded or totally flat. Right now it's half and half, and kind of weak as a result. I like everything else, though, especially the textures and colors.

i like it too... and as kiera said - you generated this image... not matter how you did it... it works - it's well composed and nicely colored - all in all quite interesting and captivating - so be proud of it... if we do "art" we need to compose... no matter we use our or created elements or if we use photographies or either tubes... if we use filters, or whatever... the ability to combine them in a way it looks good in the end - that's important... and the result is a piece of yours and not of the single components or tools you used...

Cheated? Hows that saying go? Who's that better artist the one who paints a tree with a thousands strokes or the one who paints a tree with one stroke? Great Image. Just keep "cheating." :P
