Description

My Family was driving into the a place called "Calico "- (a ghost town that I have shown pictures from in my gallery )and this sign advertised it about three miles down the road/hill from it was a huge sign of a miner in the sky and so I had to get out of the car and shoot .. Bang... the kids were whining com'on MOMMY HURRY UP ITS GETTING LATE!!! HURRY... but I couldn't help it - had to STOP the car take it cause it looks so amazing there silhouetted in the western skyline... OK kids are whining at me AGAIN get up mom we wanna go swimming ..so with towl wrapped around my neck right now..its off to the pool I go .. splish splash!! summer in California is here..!! Got to go to the pool time... yep! lol a mothers work is never done!... hugs love ya all thanks for all your wonderful comments and time... Big hugs! ♥ Kimmer!!

i agree with you photosmith it does .. but that town is a goldminers town so i had to keep up with the theme... afew of you noticed the red ground.. it got really red at sunset like it glowed i didnt post it cause it doesnt even seem real and i thought everyone would have thought i did a photo manipulation.. again taken with my old cam that was broken so forgive the quailty - i still love this though.. maybey cause it brings back my memory of it..!!
