Description

I would like to end this series tonight with a couple parting shots. This last wave caught me daydreaming a little, ok a lot! Thinking I was out of harms way I kept shooting while the wave blasted me. The bottom pic is the last thing I saw before the shower...I had just enough time to cover the cam with my towel and run for it. Like Jvc says in his last post.."I was not amused." The camera is fine...whew, and so am I...just a little wiser. Many thanks for all of your comments in this series. I hope to present more like these when the waves co-operate again. Much Aloha to All!

Okay, Dave, weren't you just making fun of those who didn't pay attention when the waves are this strong? However, you got a great close-up shot :)

Haahhah, you and Sharky really know how to take chances with Mother Nature on that little island of yours, eh? Awsome sequence, I can just imaging your last words before the water hit...I won't repeat them here. ;]

Wow, looks wild and dangerous. Actually, it is dangerous to be there. Mother nature doing her thing. Very powerful.

What a wild splash! The first shot has a great contrast. The sky and the splashing wave. The right moment!

Rejuvination & rebirth comes to mind. It's like change: Even in all it's overwhelming power all at once, it's still glorious in all that it is.
