My real name is Jeff Scott, and I live in a small suburb of Tulsa, Oklahoma. I work with and around computers for a living, and it continues to amaze people that I can work on a computer for 9 or 10 hours a day, and come home and stay glued to one for several hours at night.
BIO
I got involved with 3d graphics waaaay back in 1990 with 3dStudio. Despite a change in career paths that took me out of the computer vendor realm, I persisted and found ways to make my love for 3d graphics and architecture mesh in with my current job.
One quirky thing I did was took the office floor plans for a 20 story building, and built a Quake deathmatch arena, which several of us would play over the network. Nothing like fraggin' somebody when they're coming out of the coffee area!
Several years later, I discovered Bryce, and, well.... things haven't been the same since. I've been using Bryce for a little over 3 years now, and have moved on to Poser, Rhino, Cararra, ZBrush and several other apps as well.
I have a very one-sided brain, so I couldn't do an abstract if you put a gun to my head. Hence my addiction to landscapes.
I like to help folks out when I can, and stir the fires now and then too. I joined Renderosity a couple of years ago, and have been here since... hopefully for a long time to come.

Wow, excellently done. I love the work on the water but then the trees and ground cover are incredible too.

Fantastic work! Very high Level of realism, beautiful textures and great complexity for a Bryce scene. It's not very of I see such a good nature scene made with bryce. I nearly gave up working with plants. Keep on the great work.

Well I'm nocked out!!! this is gorgeous!!! the sky alone...WOW... how the heck did you get that sky to look so 3 dimensional? All the elements are all very well placed. Great Job! I give it a 10!

This is absolutely beautiful. The best waterfall I have ever seen. This is a work of art.
Blue_Spawn
Try making the texutre of the house(the boards in red) more detailed. The gray part of the waterfall, right where it begins, looks like a solid peace of metal. Speaking of the waterfall...it seems to have several different, completely distinct textures(gray, crystal blue, white-bluish). Instead, try blending it more together and make it look more realistic like the rest of the flowing water. Note: I do realize the fact that the properties of water change when it enters the waterfall.

Blue Spawn, thanks for the comments. I took the opportunity to look at your gallery work. I can see where you get your ideas about how water should appear in a rendering.
