Description

Ah, 'fruit of the bay' on its way to the table! Several bushels of fresh-caught blue crabs being loaded into the delivery truck for a local restaurant with a silly, if predictable, 'coat of arms.' Or is that 'coat of claw?' Anyhow, the food was far from silly. Sorry, High Commander, no baklava. Only fair on the menu was ethnic food from Merlin's Eastern Shore... stuff in shells and scales. Crab pots in the background near the ATM for folks who are not familiar with the ritual. ;-) Mrs. Weesel tends to get upset by the culinary process, but she cannot resist the lump back-fin meat any more than the locals. I was actually stunned when I saw this image. I -live- in St. Michaels. I hope you're enjoying the visit... Just be careful of anyone with a St. Michaels sticker (it's either red or blue and says SM) on their car. They can be really mean. ;) ~ fracturedmoon (technically NOT a local)
