Simply can't. You render the model with bump map and 2 spot lights without shadows it make the face more soft that light with shadows. I create the texture more dark that normal what alow you to nice post production like the contrast of the image, the light are of the model blured and looks smoth if you use contrast with your image editor to the image. I don't change anything on the face I ad only blur to the clothing and to the contur of the face and finish. Post production not more that 5 min time. Rendering 7 min. All head and bump maps textures are 3000x3000 pixel.

Great and impressive job Catharina!!, the oriental features give the character an exotic air, I like the form of illumination that has, with big lights and deep shades, the textures have a great detail.

WOOOW, this rocks! What a fantastic realism! How did you do the lashes? It comes from the texture, right? with no use of mesh lashes?! Great work Catharina, as usual one might say :-)
