This is August and probably my favorite so far! It's also my birth month and i hope you guys like it too!

How did you do the type effects?

I managed to create them with alot of work in the gimp. First you choose your text, make two colors,then create a duplicate of each color, then use motion blur down and up,(one color down the other up), then use wind (thats what it is called in the gimp) on each up and down layer, then choose the main color on the top and there ya go, or you could use a gradient like i did to get a transititoning color. :) oh and sry bout the run-on and thanx for all the comments!
