Description

Just some things I've been working on in my painting class at college. I'm not too bad at it. From top to bottom: 1. Abstract image study. (Create visual intrest from using two basic overlapping shapes.) 2. Park bench for fund raising auction. (The night class was supposed to work on the bottom. Because nobody had any great ideas, I ended up doing 2/3 of that part. LOL! I had fun though.) 3. Still life painting of objects brought in by class members. (This one is tricky.) Also one is allowed to bring in the medium of their choice. I picked acrylics. More versatile than watercolor (it can be corrected) and it dries faster than oils (that can be both a good and bad thing.) I still might try oils in class. I guess I'm just not too keen on the cost and clean-up involved, so thats another factor in my choice to go with acrylic.
