Description
I recently finished reading, or rereading (can't remember), Sphere by Michael Crichton. In this book they find an alien sphere inside of a spaceship from the future that captured it while flying through a black hole that brought them way back in time to a resting place on the bottom of the Pacific Ocean. Anyone that entered the sphere was given the power of creating anything they wanted just be willing it to be so. This thing sort of looks like some kind of being that my subconcious would come up with and the watery background seemed appropriate. Really it's pretty much the same crap that I usually make and the main reason I stopped posting here for so long. Lack of imagination and ambition finally caught up with me and I decided it was time for a break. I had a hard time deciding whether to allow comments here or not but I finally decided to enable them so people could say Hi if they choose to. This isn't great or beautiful artwork, maybe just an interesting design at best. I haven't forgotten you guys and girls and enjoy viewing your work when time allows. Something strange happened the other day that made me think. I have this cat named Fang who likes to bite me all the time so I thought she didn't like me very much. But one day last week she changed my mind. She overheard me saying that I didn't give a rat's ass about something or other and must have thought that I said I didn't have a rat's ass. Then one morning she brought me one and left it in the driveway right next to my car so wow, I guess she changed her mind. She doesn't bite quite so much anymore either.
Anyway, thanks for stopping by. See you all around sometime.

Jack! So good to see ya posting. I really understand what you are going through...that's why I change programs so often, and why I have never really gotten gooood with any one of them. Always just mediocre fun, in other words something to be obsessed over. For me, with your art, it is always in the spirit of Jack which we all love. Plus, you most usually have something interesting to say. (no pressure) Hugs to ya

Interesting and colorful story, Jack, and an imaginative and artistic interpretation and SF offering. So good to see a post from you! Terrific analogy, btw. :~)

Sounds like a very interesting book! I was wondering where you were off to. I really missed your artwork and have always liked it Jack! Your music is awesome also! This image is really excellent! I even like the pink! It gives it a vodoo look :) Cats understand what we say I am almost sure of it :) They are very smart. They mostly go by emotions I have noticed. Welcome back and hope you will stay longer this time :)

Quite an angry angular angst image, glad you're posting again... maybe sometimes it takes a rat's ass offering to understand certain truths... or not. Anyhow cool image.

Wow...I managed to miss this! I'm so glad to see you back posting. As much as I love making fractals, I love sharing them...both putting mine here and also look at others'. I don't always have time to comment, but I really love to see all the amazing variety. I like the art I do, and am always amazed to see what other people do and how different their vision is from mine, but it's still wonderful. Your vision is one I always enjoy perceiving, it's so different from my own, strange and wonderful. Thanks for sharing. :)
