It's almost perfect.... except for the bottoms of the chess pieces, that spoils it a bit. That's very unnatural. Perhaps you could change the UV mapping on the bottom of the fallen chess pieces?

This is actually quite good. I think the chess pieces are a bit too big, but you've done a comendable job with the image textures. Nice work!

Well, this is coming on really well. Now I'm no pro but there are a few details that I would change 'slightly'. The lighting/shadows of the chess pieces on the floor are coming from different directions, I know it is possible for more that one light in your room but under the table seems slightly wrong. (Gosh, I hope you dont get the wrong ideas here, I'm just seeing it from my view :). The lighting is just right in its entensity. I also agree with Drac with the textures on the wall, but, I find it very hard to know what is the right scale for the objet to materials, as some can be done in the large or need to be small in scale to work properly. I dont know why but, the chess board seems like a picture pasted on top of the table rather than being part of it, could be lighting or the need of some shadows, I cant seem put my finger on it. The objects chosen are really nice as is the idea too. I do like the image even though it may not seem that way, sorry. well done anyway.
