Description

3ds Max and photoshop A piece about the irony of a fundamentalist faction who has pushed interpretation of the Quran to the extreme - and does not tolerate theft - has, in the past, removed the hands of 'convicted' thieves. That severed hand in my work is an icon of a 'theft of faith' - A divine retribution of the most ironic kind dealt by Allah himself.

DAMN that's effective! Macabre but nonetheless striking work!

I can't fault the composition or the execution of this image. Which leaves the idea, which is also excellent. Overall, it's just a really great piece.
