Description

I had two goals when I set out to do this image: I wanted to try my hand at setting up a woodland scene and I also wanted to use water. I set up the scene, struggled with the lighting and then the resident art director, my little son, stepped in and demanded that the big tree have two eyes, a nose and a mouth. One large terrain, 5 or 6 rural maple trees, and a decapitated and highly mutated head of the millenium man later, my son proclaimed it satisfactory. Thanks are due to Varian (for some of the foliage), Daz (the girl & some flowers) and Mada (for the beautiful dress on Piper). Rendered in Vue 4.2 (still trying to justify ugrading...)

A very well composed image - your son should be given a co-ranking :) give him a hug. Now, on the petty side, there are some posing issues with the girls feet - I know it's difficult/ irritating to spot these details when the render is done - but anyway. Overall, the work is worth an excellent, the tree alone is brilliant, lighting is also very well chosen.

Excellent - In the thumbnail I did not notice the face in the tree, did you try for that? I tried the Vue demo and can't get it do render anything on my archaic PC :) But it looks a spectacular program.
