Description
Built in the 8th century, on the site of temples and a cathedral, the Omayyad mosque still today is considered to be one of the most outstanding mosques in the world.

such an impressive and interesting view! wonder that you was allowed to be there! reminds me of iraque where I was wearing the same black cloth like the women you showing here and I learned from the women how to make wind with the cape in the heat, but it was not allowed to be there as a christian! ;o)))
