Hiya everyone!!! First of all....hope you all had a wonderful weekend!!! This is a "shot" that i had in the forum earlier, asking for some advice on which gallery to upload it into. And the general opinion was that it was okay to put it in here. It is actually 2 shots...one of a bush and one of my eyes...blended together with some heavy use of filters and different adjustments on levels, curves, hue, saturation and what not. I know some might think this isn

Sorry it took so long for me to comment.Just very busy...and you have to pick a subject I feel strongly about!I agree 1000% there should be another photo category. If only so that the use of a few filters doesn't relegate us to that no man's land called 2D.My pardons to those of you that upload there, but seriously, the level of response to an upload is discouraging to say the least.Nothing at RR can compare to the photo community. And I cherish and appreciate that support.OK.That said, love that you are trying new things Andreas.I saw this a while ago and told you then that I found it creepy and disturbing,LOL.But you've done two others since that I have found surrealistic, and this now seems to go with them. This also looks like a book jacket.I think you should keep working this style. You are very talented and obviously have more 'art' in you that needs to come out.I love where this is going!...Okay,did I make up for taking so long?LOL! :)

Reminds me of a wild cat hiding in the grass!! You certainly had fun here Andreas ... I don't recall your eyes being that colour ;) Definately would be an excellent image for a book cover.

The weight of the post work...crushing me! ;] Seriously, I like it a lot and I think it is a grand idea to have a category that caters to heavily postoworked photos. Some photographers don't like doing any postwork to their images, some just basic clean up and maximizing, and others go all out, like you did here. I saw whatever makes the image fit your artistic vision, do it!

I would also say it is a "Mixed Medium", but i also see that when i post in the "Mixed Medium", people that usually comment don't see it... Amazing work here!!! I love it... Have a great day! Hugs

Wow...I Love this image!! Excellent PW!!! And excellent job of merging!! I do a lot of that myself and have also had a bit of confusion as to where to put them exactly. Usually they end up in 2d but I agree with you! Also I agree with everyone else, this is superb and it doesn't matter what gallery!! :-) VOTE
