Description
This picture is all about the sea. Not the boat.
I wondered if it could be done in Vue. Now you can all tell me whether I managed it! One thing, you can't blame me for at least giving it a go.
Tried it in Bryce, but the skies just weren't good enough for what I had in mind.
Thanks for looking at my pics and all the good advice I have been getting.

You wave is fantastic. The sky is perfect for the this work also. I wonder if the ship will make it through the storm.

Since a Tsunami wave doesn't break until it is in close to the shallows of the shore, this ship is toast. But a bigger crit: It would look more realistic if you had one or two of the larger sails set, but shredded by the wind. Having them neatly furled looks like the crew just furled the sails, set their affairs in order, went below to their racks, and are expecting to die. Even in massive storms, the crew would have set a couple of sails, if only for steerageway, to get away from the shore and out further to sea. I did notice that the main mast you portrayed as over the side, I think it would show better if you showed the mast on this side of the picture facing the viewer. It would be more dramatic.

Okay... I have several comments (on the comments). Yes, the water and wave are superb! That's obvious. If you go to the Bryce gallery you can find ratfugel's image there that shows this ship before the tsunami occurs. It is just floating serenely on a calm sea. So, FitArtistSF, there is no reason for the crew to have the sails out to steer through a storm. Now, with that in mind... ratfugel, why did you make the sky stormy looking? As we well know nowadays, a tsunami doesn't have anything to do with storms in the atmosphere.
