Description
this is another picture from the San Diego Zoo
i have messing with my camera because it is new and i am new to digital slr's flowers don't move plus they look nice
tips and comments are welcome

Take the shot vertically instead of horizontally, use a longer (120-200mm) focal length if you can, watch the the focusing.. looks like the autofocus lock nailed the spot to the left and down a bit making the flower a tad bit out of focus... center the flower a bit and make it a larger portion of the overall scene ... the dark background behind the flower would have made a nice contrast... Cheers...

michael i only have the 18-70mm lens the camera came with right now but i will do

Some people call this a friendship flower. I don't know for sure what it is. Very pretty shot however.
