Well done.

Dig the textures. Great modeling too dude. Maybe for the final go for a different sky. Something darker with the haze uppped some. Otherwise, very cool!!
Sans2012
lol. I replaced the sky because I thought it was to dark. The sky is 2D my friend, I can colour correct when I'm closer to finishing, thanks for the advice mate. thanks guys!

Yes, I can see this as my rooftop hangar with my cool sky car. Cool idea, great textures and scene. Really great modeling too. Excellent.
RodsArt

Nice rust on the metal, very realistic. I like the little flying cars.

As above!

Interesting texutres and the little ships (cars?) are cool! But they need more reflection, and dirtier textures to match the rest of the scene... I like it so far.

I like the textures on the building. As for the ships... they seem a little out of place to me. They are "cute", but the city is rundown and dirty... Well, just my opinion, but the composition of the city and the textures on the buildings are really quite excellent. =)

Thanks to all of you for your comments and advice. Yeah, I'm considering removing the ships altogether, looking at them for a while now and I to believe, they don't seem to fit in. I could change the textures on the ships but, I think this scene would look better with an architectural design instead. Thanks again to all of you. I will work on this one and upload the finished render soon. Cheers.

First off, I really like the scene so far. And I really like the idea of the flying cars. Perhaps just losing the bright yellow paint job would be enough to tie them in better. Great depth so far. Have fun and look forward to your next post!

Ultimate triple excellence!!! :)

I love this image. I wouldn't change it. Use the buildings again, perhaps change the POV, but I actually was attracted by the ships. They're not weathered like the rest, but you see that kind of juxtoposition every day-- dingy areas with sparkly cars. Keep 'em coming.

Wow! How did you do the lighting? It looks so Un-Bryce! Nice shadows! I think it is a fabulous start!
