Description

I've been experimenting with some scenes, trying to create some good CG mat paintings. I used some buildings from photos and other CG to composite a background skylin. I simulated the lighting so it would look more like the George Michael CG city in Freeek(although my version is a lot redder and darker...). That paricular scene has about 13 layers of renders in the background. 50% borrowed buildings and 50% rendered buildings in the background. 3D Buildings by Moebius87, Topa, and myself... Comments always welcome....

Blade Runner - still my favourite movie. Bottom left looks too positive, not at all dark and dreary enough :-) Bottom right looks fantastic, I hope you can do some more featuring the Tyrell ziggaurats...

WOW, the top leftt and lower right look great! i think there should be a little fall off to the light polution on the top left image. maybe a bit darker fadde off on top? also, i think if you are going to show the police car that close, it'll need a bit more datail. just my 2. please keep posting! really great to see someone take on a project of this size.

Just having watched Blade Runner again, Sean, for the umpteenth time, this really captures the feel of the city environment. Not to forget about your excellent cop car prop.
