Description

It's time for a change! I'm getting sick of doing portraits and boring illustrations and its going to stop! This is a draft of my first fantasy illustration and represents the kind of work I want to do and am going to do. I'm gonna get a few top notch fantasy illustrations done, and jack in the 9 to 5... Or at least thats the plan! Feedback most welcome, as I'm new to this kind of illustration and am in need of an ego boost to give me that push to stop working for someone and go feelance. ;) (Will post final illustration soon) Thanks

The coloring is very very good i love it. I use to freelance I will give you the only key i learned make the client believe in you!

Thanks for your comments... The colour was applied in photoshop. I scanned the original illustration and placed it as an overlay layer and painted underneath it on a fresh layer using the airbrush tool. Once I was happy with the rough colour, I flattened the image and dropped it into painter. I then used the blenders to merge the colour with the original line art to try and create a smoot finish.
