There is something strange going on in the neighbourhood ;)

Our town did this for a fund raiser one year. Each entrant (usually a local company) painted their own cow, and then they auctioned the things off. Some of them looked pretty cool. :)

Thx for your comments so far. This is in Germany in my hometown called Bad Schwartau. What means ISTR?

they did this in manchester, england last year. after the exhibit they auctioned them all off for charity. lovely pic
