Description

This was taken during the same storm as my previous post "lightning - 1st attempt" about an hour later. I thought the glow in the rain from the street lights looked cool. It was raining so hard the streets were rivers and it was puonding on the tin roof of the building I was hiding in so hard I had to yell to talk to someone right next to me. And the frist time I tried to take this picture, I was about to press the button and there was a flash of lightning and all the lights went out! fortunately they came back on a few miniutes later and I got this picture. Hope you like it! Camera - Canon EOS Digital Rebel 1600 ISO f 4.5 about a 5th of a second exposure

An amazing storm! I thought the effect was caused by fog until I read your intro. Wow, talk about pouring buckets. Great capture! You really caught it well.
