Description

Leptophyes punctatissima (assuming Im reading my insect guide book correctly) Found this little guy in the garden this evening. Got home from work and awaiting me we're a set of extension rings :) :). I slapped all three on to the end of my 180mm macro lens to see what would happen. The subjects definately bigger in the frame now, but depth of field is less (as expected). Focusing is a nightmare as any little body motion wildly effects the focus, but considering this, most of the shots I took look this evening look acceptable to me. Used the 580ex flash again here. My next purchase Adrain...what a superb macro mate...last yr, the fields around me were plentiful of these and other bugs...will have to wait a few more weeks yet!!!
