Muses are often viewed of as a benefit to an artist. Seems folks have forgotten about the lhiannon-sidhe, which is the muse to the greatest of Welsh bards... who all die young. This was a piece for a Renderosity contest. (Didn't win.) The challenge was to put an image to the provided poem. Just remembered that I hadn't posted this here when I was browsing through my art files. As you can see, I did a whole lot more post-work than I normally do. I really wanted to emphasize the emotion of the piece, which was something I just couldn't do with Daz|Studio alone. I think it turned out quite nicely, though there are, as per usual, things I need to work on. I really need to gain confidence in my ability to repair joint problems with postwork. This was also the first time I used Micheal 3 in a completed piece. I quite like him, but I'm generally fond of the male Poser figures. They don't get enough attention. (Which is why my current project has the Freak and M3 in it, but no V3.) Rendered in Daz|Studio, postworked in PSP9. Credits: (as well as I can remember them after a month, i.e. badly) - V3, M3, Mihai hair and texture, V3 Greco-Roman clothes and texture, M3 skin - Daz - I have the sneaking suspicion that V3's skin is Daio's Brandy from PoserPros - V3's hair actually doesn't look like anything I possess, but I know I didn't paint it. So I think it's something by Kozaburo that I just applied some morphs and a custom texture to. - Eyes were from a freebie by 3Dream - Pose by me, and it was a bitch to do. Especially since I accidentally deleted all of my saved scenes shortly after I got this one posed. Had to start over from the beginning... UGH! - I don't remember who did the lights, but probably not me. Probably RDNA freebie set.
