Description
In Norse mythology, the Naglfar was a magical ship that sailed at the start of Ragnarok, or the end of the world. In some myths, it is simply a wooden ship; in others, made from the nails of dead men.
There are three ships in the image, so one is the Naglfar, the other two are not. Totally made in Vue, with the Daz Drakkar prop imported as a 3DS. Hope you all like it, comments are appreciated. ZK out.

Excellent texture work. I love the mood of the image, it fits the Viking theme. The reflection turned out nice on the water as well. Good work!

Nice subject matter ;) I remember that detail, too. I am pretty sure it IS made of the nails of the Dead. Just look at the name of the ship - Naglfar. BTW, the German word for nail is Nagel. Nagel- Nagl... ;) Just one tip: the drakkars seem to be flying rather than floating. In reality the water would almost reach the shields.

lookoo is right, they should be lower, but when I did so in an earlier render, it looked "wierd", so I switched realistic for ghostly. Thanks for posting, guys'n'gals.

I thought the floating was deliberate because it was the Naglfar. Ragnarok never looked so cool! Well done.
