Description

Entitled with kind assistance of the Rolling Stones Maybe some of you are interested in the hidden intent on doing something colorful like that, so here's the whole story: I went to Dortmund a few weeks ago and realized that the galleries are offering a lot of totally meaningless but grossly overpriced stuff (paintings with just some color-blocks with a single blade of grass glued to it etc), they even sell it as yard goods: You choose a section of the canvas, they cut it out and frame it. I asked my hubby ir he has an idea what this kind of art may be good for and he answered: "Well, this stuff matches the actual interior colors - you can have an expensive piece of framed canvas that matches the color of your sofa...". So I thought that it should be possible to make something that harmonizes with a room AND is a "real" image, too. (By the way: The blue and the upcoming yellow variation would look good here at home because we have blue respectivly yellow toned walls). Now here's the "Pink Lady" of my rainbow series. This one is done like the blue version. I took the yellow second-skin texture (body and cap) of Jumalia, deleted all skintoned areas and altered the texture with the Photoshop "Varations" tool (you find it at image-->adjustments) and some tweaking of hue and saturation until it matched the pink makeup that comes with "Jumalia Fantasy". After that I merged the whole thing to the nude skin. This just as a tip for those who asked me about the how-to ;o) Background is from DAZ (Cyclorama), lighting by me, postworked on some broken joints and on the "cloth"-edges, lighting by me. And off again, working on the third (frog-green) version (although I can't imagine a room that may harmonize with that - well, maybe a white room...). Thanks for having a look!

I agree so much with your commentary about abstract art; I simply don't get it! If people want colors to match the couch, simply splash some paint on the walls and save a few thousand dollars! lol! This piece is very beautiful in my eyes, and shows some thought, which to me is art! Fantastic character and the coors are gorgeous! Pink is the favorite color of a lot of close friends I have, and it works so well with so many color schemes! Excellent artwork!

I really NEVER loved Pink and violet, but You did convince me another way. I could imagine that some of these pictures bring a little colour in (childrens)hospital rooms- there is definitly nothing in the false coulour ;) No, really. I don't need a colourmatching pic in my livingroom. I need one what I like and this series would include 4 pics I would give a try. My best freinds sister really has aone room in pink and orange- YES- nod I would prefer her this one ;) excellent

Super!!! LG S.

Great body texture, but a bit sad emotion comes to mind when looking at her. =(
