Albert used to be such a nice fellow. Remember how he used to grin in school, like he had just done something really bad. Thinking about that, while walking past his house one cool evening, you decide to look around. You haven't seen him in years and while you wouldn't dare knock on the door, the curiosity eats at you until you peek in a window. Wiping the dust from the glass, you see him just as his arm is coming up with a knife. A big knife and it's dripping! Shivering with fright, you swallow hard and try to move, but you can't. Sweat rolls down the sides of your face, as you watch Albert plunge the knife over and over and over. You can't see exactly what he's stabbing, but it's a relief, you don't want to know. Feeling nauseous, your heart pounds in rhythm to the dull thuds from inside. Then, just as you get the strength to move, he sees you. Looking right at you, he grins that grin. You turn to run and trip on some chicken wire that's sticking out of the ground. Hitting the dirt with an "Ummph!", you're not thinking of calling the cops, because you're wondering if you'll be alive!
