Description

Landing on any world there is likely to be a show of force before you touch down to do trade no matter how pathetic the force is. the ship was in little danger the best the planes could do was scratch the paint. but is was one of those necessary shows of force. Looking through the monitor I could see the pilots sweating hoping that we would not turn to violence. These are the things one must deal with as a space trader. Well the starship and the vintage fighters are my models. I went a different route and did all the textures in the DTE in Bryce. The fighter planes are based on a few different fighters from the 30's namely the Boeing P-26 and the Fiat Cr 42 both of which I modeled before. The cowling is based on a later Fiat design which escapes me. The planes and the starship are modeled in Wings by me. The pilot is a head I got from turbo squid modified and smoothed and then added a helmet and headset and body. Moved galleries just because it really fits in more than one. All models are by me in Wings.

You keeping us in the dark about a movie you making? Your modelling is near flawless. The story begs for a series. Though might I suggest two things? I'd say you should up the lighting a bit and to create more depth. Other than that, you can model more than I can.I hail thee!

And the pilot is saying 'I gotta get me one of those..' This is such a great idea. Love it!

reminds me of the Turtledove series about alien contact during WWII..;) you're developing a recognizeable style, which indicates you've got a good control of the craft..keep it up.

I need a pilot too.. Nice job Dann-O. And graet concept and composition. Can you turn the pilots head a little so he's looking at the starship? That might be a little more "realistic"
