Description

A new technique that I've been working on, to import Poser characters into ZBrush for rendering with the advanced editing tools and materials that ZBrush has available. Michael and his Changing Fantasy Suit. Suit textures by Silverleaf Studios. Edo by StefyZZ. No bump maps were used. Instead, I made use of ZBrush's inherent color bump capabilities.

Thank you, everyone! Your kind comments mean a lot to me. To answer your question, Heart'Song, it really wasn't an issue for me. ZBrush was my first art program, so it felt very natural to me. Getting used to Poser or Bryce -- now THAT was hard. I still can't stand working in Bryce. Too much math, and too little intuition. People do talk about ZBrush having a fairly steep learning curve, but I think that a lot of it comes from fighting the program. Try the demo from Pixologic.com. Visit ZBrush Central at www.pixolator.com for a ton of tutorials and good friends. It is now a common event for "newbies" to turn out first pieces that rival some of the "old hands".
