My name is Matthew Yetter.
I'm an optician turned Vietnamese linguist turned cell phone salesman turned casino worker turned website developer and 3D animator. And then I have a few really wild plans for beyond that... As for art, it's a funny thing but I can't paint or draw in two dimensions worth a damn. I live in Las Vegas, Nevada.
In a completely unexpected twist, I now work for Pixologic, the makers of ZBrush.

Wow! What a GREAT idea! This is a superb render! ZBrush seems pretty amazing..........what was the learning curve?

Thank you, everyone! Your kind comments mean a lot to me. To answer your question, Heart'Song, it really wasn't an issue for me. ZBrush was my first art program, so it felt very natural to me. Getting used to Poser or Bryce -- now THAT was hard. I still can't stand working in Bryce. Too much math, and too little intuition. People do talk about ZBrush having a fairly steep learning curve, but I think that a lot of it comes from fighting the program. Try the demo from Pixologic.com. Visit ZBrush Central at www.pixolator.com for a ton of tutorials and good friends. It is now a common event for "newbies" to turn out first pieces that rival some of the "old hands".
