Description

The last couple of weeks I've been traveling to Chicago, which takes me through the heart of Illinois. I spotted a derelict farm just off the interstate, and promised myself I'd find the road to it on one of the trips. After a half hour detour, I did- and snapped a few quick shots. I think when we see pictures of abandoned dwellings,we all wonder who lived there; how their days and nights went, how long it was "home" etc. I guess I was inspired to "fill in the blanks" in my own way. Photo Shop, with various filters , about 5 layers in the image. The people are from my own photo collection. Thanks for looking and commenting; have a wonderful holiday.

Wonderful. I have visited many such abandoned old farm houses, and it is sad. You've done a masterful job with this one, if even a bit mysterious.
