THIS is the work I missed!!! This is amazing. I study Celtic lore too, and you know what, who cares if you ended up doing something that's not exact (if you ever do, that is)... We're artists. The myth is intact, and we take off with it, leading it into our own story sometimes. Outstanding!

interesting blotchy effect in the overall picture (squint your eyes, you'll get blotched of light and dark) - it's a disturbing effect to the composition, which is probably something good for a halloween inspired pic

Awesome image, i'll bet the larger version is somewhat more impressive(not that this one isn't). One of my earlier works Ride of the ankou was inspired by a celtic death legend, as I to am often inpspired by celtic and norse myth and lore.
