Hi Kimariehere the background was created from a render of a wicked tree and a castle wall with green beer bottle material applied with a color-matched set of green SpeedLITES. The tree was knocked out from the background, flipped and distorted in photoshop then the background was radial and motion blurred, high-lights added then posted to create the irie 'swamp' effect. The macaws were then rendered over the background using the same SpeedLITE set-up and Carol applied her postwork magic to the entire scene using various brushes to smudge, then she overlaid the girl, ghosted and colorized her and there you have it. No photography, just Poser 5 and Photoshop.

It seems I am always at a loss for words when viewing your fantastic work. Since I am so late to see this one, and so many others have described it much better than I ever could, I will just sit here and enjoy it and nod my head in agreement to all that has been said...nothing short of spectacular!!!
