Wow Kimmers!! Excellent composition. I remember bicycling into Death Valley in August of 1986 and it certainly didn't look like this. Guess this is a hundred year picture. :-) V

yep the colors would seem off to anyone.. this isnt photenhanced just a small wonder and event that happens if your lucky once in a lifetime... it made the desert seem like a whole new world .. at the time itook it for granted and didnt realise just how dramtic it was ... till i looked and studied and reserched the subject matter..i have to say even with my bad cam i am proud of this now... thank you !

There's a POV you don't see everyday...fine capture here of a green desert...makes it so much more interesting then dead and brown. Hang in there with the kids, I know you want to shoot them all by now...lol...Aloha~

I went to Death Valley a couple of years ago and it definetly was not green but still I could find beauty there. I wanted to go and see it green but money was an issue. thanks for sharing this wonderful capture. I could only imagine the poor tricked Chinese there years ago during the borax mining not recieving pay and unable to walk out, starving on meager food and working all the daylite hours no matter the 120 degree weather and freezing at nite during the winter
