Description

Today by chance I happened upon an island wide invitational canoe race in Hilo bay, downtown Hilo. The day was beautiful and the crowd was estimated in the hundreds. I was asked to shoot some shots for our local club, Puna Canoe club. So I will be posting some of my results in the next couple days.... This first one is of a little girl sitting in the canoe comtemplating her upcoming race. She leans on her paddle for re-assurance. She paddled her little heart out as did all the girls in her canoe. Most shots were in RAW mode converted to JPEG. Thanks for having a peek, and hope your enjoying your weekend. Aloha to All~

Dave, - I really think you do your best stuff with people. This is very good, and although you don't do people that often, I can't think of a single one that wasn't an outstanding 'capture' as you folks say.

Beautiful shot of this girl occupied with preparing! Love to see kids unaware of photographers, their natural expressiona are so authentic, a joy for the eye!
