by Kasey Chambers.
It refers to Kasey going from radio station to radio station to get air play when she was starting out.
She was having no luck and getting turned away. So Kasey posed the question in song.
'CHORUS:

Is my heart too broken
Do I cry too much
Am I too outspoken
Don't I make you laugh
Should I try it harder
Why do you see right through me'
This song was later adopted as the theme song for the R.S.P.C.A
(Royal Society Prevention of Cruelty to Animals)
