Gets my vote! I don't usually pay much attention to fractal images. They just don't show me much soul - usually. This image is certainly the exception, so full of light, joy and fun. Has all the elements that we love in gift wrap, Christmas decorations and all such eyecandy. Image wise, the color is superb, with color compliments (opposites) glancing off each other playfully, yet surrounded by some neutral zones to keep it from blowing up in a chain reaction and reducing to mud (as mixing too many equally bright colors of equal size will). Those subtle ellipse shapes help the color along and add layers for visual exploration, encouraging the viewer's eyes to dive in farther and taste deeper. In fact, few non-fractal images have even kept me looking for so long. The composition has excellent balance and fully supports the color scheme and eye movement, with just the right mix of complex and simple areas. Unusual, i know, but i don't have a single suggestion for improvement. You really should try to sell this one to a gift wrap paper company - delicious!
