I have pictured R2 as many things lol a flip top rubish bin, a washing machine and many other things but a Darlek :o well done

That's something I've wondered about since I became a "Doctor Who" fan in 1982; what did British movie watchers think when they first saw R2-D2 in 1977? How many of them thought that R2 resembled a Dalek? Could a few of them who read this blurb respond? A great visualization of a motif I've considered myself. Sincerely, Bill
