Description

Why the name? Sometimes when I work, songs or stories that I've heard float around in my mind and they can't help but influence whatever I'm working on. This is one of those. While I was working on this piece, I thought of the E.A. Poe short story, 'The Oval Portrait' about an artist and his beloved. It's a short story and I recommend looking it up if you're not familiar with it. Thank you for looking and for your comments. :)

I'm not familiar with the story, but I have a strong feeling that your beautiful image compliments the words quite nicely! Such a gorgeous and classic dress on your beautiful character! It's so elegant and flowing; they don't make them like that anymore! Excellent work on this piece!!
