Description

Inspired by the work and beauty of Rodica Miller, aka; tigroaica. If you don't already know who she is, visit her homepage and see her works. You can find her in my list of favorites. I continue to be amazed at and inspired by the complexity and insight with which she presents to us a glimpse of her subconscious visions. Mixed media, acrylic paintings, photos and a touch of Maya. As some of you may know, I posted an explanation for my absence on my last picture, "Emotions Eleven." I may be absent a bit longer, but you're all present in my thoughts and I wish you all the best. well it's surreally good to see you again no matter how short & with a cool image too... the contrasting color & play with the eye in the 3d look :] like the ball is in a tunnel viewing a gallery of sorts ...i shal go check out the paintings by this artist you recommend now

This is some great very tangible use of symbolism right here, which is in my opinion one of the biggest components of Art---To convey what/how we feel. Visualwise, you've also created a well composed, excellent use of color to isolate "the sphere" , "The sky" and a cool related shade in Rodica's image to make her seem a part of that external landscape---which to me represents the landscape of her mind, thoughts and visions---This piece is a big winner in my book. -Julian

Jay...so nice to see you back...sure have missed your art! and WoW!!! you come back with something so different from what i'm used to seeing. i LOVe this!!!!!! I see that she is definitely on your mind. that's what this piece of art represents to me...the library/gallery/theatre of your mind. flowing creativity, a world beyond. but still, time has stopped. the sphere represents you. you study her and her art. and then there's that other place...so many twists and turns. but you just stand and watch...contemplating Rodica! Incredible piece of art!!!! Dare i say it's your best???? :)
