Description

HAY LOOK IT'S REALLY SILENT HILL Yeah, I figured I better get cracking on the actual Silent Hill scenery, seeing as how I'm about three or four pages away from actually being there. ^^; Not quite done. Still needs streetlights and mailboxes and fireplugs and trash cans and stuff, and I either need to fix the stairy-thing down at CRABS (best restaurant name ever CRABS hee hee hee) or get rid of it and if called on that deviation from SH1's rendition, claim it was remodeled for ADA compliance. Also, CRABS needs a new roof texture. Spent most of the morning with SH1 in the PS2, making Harry run around in front of these three buildings and look at stuff so I could get the textures right. The bricks are the ones that came with the Daz Dark Alley. Everything else--doors, windows, trim, signs, and posters--I did. More artistic wankery about that in the detail thingy I'll be uploading shortly. (whoops! Forgot about that one-upload-a-day thing. Here's the detail wankery.) If I thought my system could handle it I'd model the whole damn town because man, this is fun.

Very cool work! Looks almost like the 'real' thing. I'm also a Silent Hill fan and do quite a few SH inspired renders. Check my gallery out sometime.
