the girls on the planes from the war days were said to bring luck to the pilots many tried even to paint thier girlfriends infact.. hehe she was one heck of a hot girlfriend!! thats for sure!!

Great deatil shot there. Lovley ar ton the side. Reminds me of my air force days the tankers (why of all planes)had nose art. I remember there was a big issue over a plane with soem interestign nose art the particular plane was aces over 8's. Had a skeleton holding the cards everyone loved it but the brass did nto oh well. A nice racy pice of nose art nothing wrong with that.
