Description
For the nitpickers - yes, I know Bast was never depicted wearing the solar disk but I'm claiming artistic license. I just liked the way it looks. After all, I don't think she was depicted with wings either. ;-)

Actually, Bast is sometimes considered to be Ba-Ast, which means the soul of Ast, or Isis, who is of course often seen with solar disk, horns and wings. Also, I am not so sure that Bast is never seen with the disk - she's just not typically pictured that way. Beautiful image and gorgeous models. Did you model them yourself? (I soooo want a Bast model like that!) Thanks for sharing!

Bastet was the goddess cat protector of the home and Setmet it was when she got angry and she became the warring panther. You have made a very good work, all the historical artistic licenses are allowed that want.
