Description

Seen from the vantage of the end of the black moss plains plateau against a setting of Joker palms and flame trees just coming into season, the famous Dragon's Claw Artifact. The deep core geologic formation is named after a local legend that the magical artifact placed the celestial dragon lord's body into a state of slumber allowing the first land to created. We do not know what the artifact is, nor why it slowly pulses bursts of neutrino and tachyons as it rotates once every 2.375 years. Where it came from and how it beacme embedded in the 4.5 billion year old rocks is a mystery no scientist can yet answer. ...nor do we know why a series of small earthquakes occur every 26 years. _________________________________ Started as a terrain doodle and ended up in this image/postcard. (grins) I, of course, know WHAT, WHY, and HOW in this case, being one of said celestial dragon lords, although not currently slumbering! And the quakes are every 29 years, not 26! (jokes, at a time like this?) An excellent scene, I can only hope to go to rest in such a beautiful locale...

Fantastic! I really need to buckle down and play more with Bryce. This came out beautifully, plus the story really lends the render some weight. Great job!
